Each year, the Nashville Business Journal honors local CEOs who excel in leadership and inspire those around them. The prestigious list of Most Admired CEOs is determined through a rigorous nomination and voting process, with input from the public and fellow executives. Nominees are grouped into categories based on their company size and industry, and then vote on one another. Those with the highest scores are named honorees.
This year, DWC Construction CEO John Arndt, Jr. has been recognized among the 2024 honorees, representing the category of private companies with 26-100 employees. This marks his eighth award in the last nine years—a testament to his continued leadership and success in the construction industry.
John’s journey with DWC Construction began in 1981 as a project engineer. Over the years, he led the growth of the company by establishing the interior construction division, eventually becoming COO, where he oversaw all construction activity. In September of 2008, John was named President and CEO, guiding the company to new heights. DWC Construction is now celebrating 76 years of service in Middle Tennessee under John’s leadership.
John will be honored alongside other outstanding business leaders at the Nashville Business Journal’s Most Admired CEO Awards ceremony in December 2024.
